Back when I was a student at the University of Michigan studying to become a dentist, I developed a painful hand condition known as "carpal tunnel syndrome". In my case it came on suddenly. The pain in my hands was so intense that I couldn't clench my fists, hold a pen or sometimes even button my shirt. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to hold a dental instrument if the disability continued. After considering surgery (that was the only option, according to the surgeon) I decided against it, but there is more. A friend of mine convinced me to give a chiropractor a try. The chiropractor did an exam, took some films, and then adjusted my spine. The adjustment didn’t hurt - it actually felt really good. I experienced relief, and I could use my hands again. The treatment worked so well that I was inspired to change careers, and off to chiropractic school I went. I am a graduate of Life University in Atlanta Georgia, the world’s largest and most prestigious chiropractic college. It's strange how life is, because now people come to see me with their carpal tunnel syndrome problems! They also come to me with their headaches, migraines, chronic pain, neck pain, shoulder/arm pain, whiplash from car accidents, asthma, allergies, numbness in limbs, and athletic injuries, just to name a few.
So called "experts" may laugh at, doubt, or even argue my profession, but the results - and studies - speak for themselves. The Virginia study, for instance showed 99% of patients who saw a chiropractor were satisfied with their results. That's just incredible! My assistants and colleagues Dr. Karen, Lindsey, and Allison do their best to make all patients feel right at home.
11 years ago something happened to me that changed my life forever.
