My husband and I had been trying to have a child for over 5 years when I started receiving chiropractic care. Although I had surgery over 2 years ago to correct a uterine abnormality, I still had not been able to conceive after the surgery. I am now 10 weeks pregnant and I truly believe that chiropractic care allowed my body to heal itself from the surgery and regulate my cycles so that I could successfully conceive. I suffered from migraines at least 2 times a month and had a sinus infection every 6 months. I began to realize that my Family Medical Dr. just wanted to keep "trying" different medications. I began to see Dr. Eric approx. 3 months ago when a friend referred me to him. After my Doctors and I gave up on my unusual condition. I was getting ovarian cysts the size of softballs and they would burst causing great pain and scar tissue. The Doctors could not determine the cause even after several bloodtests and catscans. They then took me off birth control a year ago stating I did not need them due to the fact I was no longer able to conceive due to the damage & other various test results. When I first considered coming to Broad Family Chiropractic, it was with much trepidation. I didn't really have any knowledge about the scope of chiropractic care. My co-worker had received fine care and relief from chronic migraine headaches. I was suffering from allergies and sinus problems and not getting better taking a variety of medications, I was also suffering from low back trouble. I decided there must be a healthier way of life for me. I am currently receiving care three times a week, I have committed to the chiropractic way of life. I no longer take any medications to relieve symptoms, we are working on the root cause of my sinus and low back pains. I am grateful to Dr. Eric Broad for his care.
